My family planned our summer vacation this year to correspond with the wedding of my wife’s half-sister’s mother, Roni. It was her second wedding, to a man who was so obviously enamored with her it touched the heart.
It was a small, simple wedding, set at a ranch house in the desert. One of those quaint affairs devoid of the stuffiness and formality you find so often elsewhere. Everyone felt like family.
I am usually “in the zone” when shooting the ceremony, but this time I could not help be moved by the emotions evident in Mike’s face during much of the ceremony. It was truly romantic.
