Adobe Lightroom Updated

Since my previous rant about Lightroom slowing down considerably during the local adjustments in the Develop module, Adobe Labs has released update 2.3 which among other things fixes a memory leak that was causing my issues. If you don’t have Lightroom automatically checking for updates for you, go get this one now – it’s definitely worth your bandwidth. (more…)

Adobe Lightroom 2.2 – Now Twice as Slow!

Yesterday saw the latest update from Adobe for Lightroom 2. Among other enhancements, this update promised an improved performance with the adjustment brush, which was certainly an issue I’ve had often in the past. I was stoked to get faster response times in Lightroom so I quickly downloaded and installed the update. Unfortunately, afterwords I actually noticed a signifigant drop in speed overall in comparison to the previous update. (more…)
